Shadan Storytelling Contest for Children is an annual competition organized by the Shadan Center for Child and Family Development, aimed at nurturing young talents in storytelling and creative writing. This initiative provides a platform for children and adolescents to express their creativity through story writing and narration, encouraging them to explore their imaginations and enhance their literary skills.
Now in its second edition, the competition strives to elevate storytelling standards and discover exceptional young talents. The winning stories will be published in a book, and participants will have the opportunity to win valuable prizes, making this an inspiring and rewarding experience for young writers.
The website was designed and developed with a child-friendly and engaging interface, ensuring an interactive and seamless user experience. Using Adobe XD and WordPress and Adobe Illustrator for UI/UX design and web development and incorporating playful illustrations and vibrant color palettes, I created an inviting platform that captures the essence of creativity and storytelling.
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
Key elements of the design approach included: A visually appealing and intuitive layout to guide young users effortlessly. Story-themed graphics and animations to create an immersive experience. Easy submission process for participants to upload their stories. A section dedicated to previous winners, inspiring new participants. The overall goal was to build a user-friendly and inspiring digital space where young storytellers can confidently showcase their talents.
