My Book is one of the world’s largest bookstore chains, known for its extensive collection of books and strong offline presence. To expand its reach, the project focused on designing and developing a seamless e-commerce experience through a website and mobile app.
The platform was built to provide an intuitive and engaging shopping journey, featuring personalized recommendations, advanced search filters, and a smooth checkout process. With a focus on UI/UX, the design ensures easy navigation, visually appealing layouts, and a user-friendly interface, making online book shopping as convenient as visiting a physical store.
To design an intuitive and engaging online bookstore, a user-centered approach was adopted, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for book lovers. 1. Research & Strategy: Conducted market research to understand user behavior and expectations. Analyzed competitor platforms to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Defined user personas and key user journeys to optimize navigation and interactions. 2. UI/UX Design & Prototyping (Using Adobe XD and Figma) Created wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes for both website and mobile app. Focused on clean typography, intuitive layouts, and minimalistic design to enhance readability. Implemented personalized recommendations, category filters, and smooth checkout for better user engagement. Designed a responsive and accessible interface, ensuring compatibility across devices.
